Afterward, standing at the middle of the altar, extending and then joining his hands, and slightly bowing, he says (when it is to be said[1]):

Gloria in Excelsis

Glory be to God on high, and on earth peace to men of good will. We praise Thee; we bless Thee; we worship Thee; we glorify Thee. We give
