The Women's War with Whisky:

sought to save men from their sins, in Christ's name. It consecrated every interest—including woman's tenderest one, her good name—to the work of uprooting the greatest moral evil of the times.

If in the pursuit of this great good they unwittingly discovered to themselves and the world, before unknown powers of doing good in other ways than one—in all ways—let us thank God, who sent them the inspiration. And let us do them honor for what they have accomplished. But let us not presume to interfere with their work.
