Political activity by the women in California is doubtless the same as in all other states where suffrage prevails. Very early in our campaigns, it was evidenced that “off-color” political activity, whether practiced for personal aggrandizement or monetary gain, was not a matter of sex, but rather an intelligence performance plane upon which certain members of both sexes function. The watchfulness of the women of character and training directing the various activities, has built for fine ideals, making the general tone of woman's activity second to none in achievement and moral cleanliness.
