Should we create an ASCII only page or a UNICODE page ? ie: should we accept ---> or require the Unicode character “→” (U+2192) or “→” (U+FFEB) or should we use HTML characters like (U+2192) → → → or (U+FFEB) → →  ???

  • If you ever need help in the future, when you ask a question on a talk page, add {{helpme}} at the top; this will alert others to your question. Some character should be used, but as to whether this work should use ASCII or Unicode, that question should be entirely within the purview of the person(s) who will proofread it. Due to the actions of several editors unknowingly, or due to confusion on the part of one editor, this work may include both, at some times; however, the work should be internally consistent, and use either all ASCII or all Unicode. If you wish to fully proofread this work, (which would be much appreciated,) you may decide in what manner you would like to proceed. TE(æ)A,ea. (talk) 23:48, 24 October 2020 (UTC).Reply
