Gutenberg strengths and weaknesses

The Gutenberg transcription uses Unicode combining characters, which avoids the awkward work-arounds used in their transcriptions of other articles by this author. However, in several places, a macron was used instead of a tilde, which led to nonsense toward the end of the text on this page. Other minor problems on this page were omitted italics in several places and various miscoded characters (besides the tilde problem already mentioned). I am glad not to have to do this article from scratch though, but effectively I treated it as a validation of Gutenberg's work. Bob Burkhardt (talk) 22:14, 20 November 2019 (UTC)Reply
