I am certain that the figures are transcribed correctly, but am not sure how the "revenue" column is calculated. It is not exactly what you get by multiplying and adding up the different duty rates, so it seems there either must be some other factor affecting revenue not mentioned in the table, or the Economist did theirs sums incorrectly. Just adding this as a note in case anyone wonders why there is a discrepancy. Calculation below to illustrate (note: 1s. is 12 pence, 1d. is one penny, and there are 240 pence in one pound sterling).
