Footer?

What I've rendered as the footer here (that final "XXX.") is rendered in the original on the same line as the last bit of text. However, it seems to be the typographer's way of implementing the pattern where this preview of the following page is given as a footer. That is, I'm reading it as fitting the footer together with the text, rather than it not being a footer any more.

If this decision is reversed, I should note that this has happened in previous pages too. At present, I have not noted the previous instances. I will endeavour to note future instances.
