Initially, because the footnote in which Adam Smith is quoted spans pages 57 and 58, I placed the part that appears on page 57 in the <ref></ref> section and the part that appears on page 58 in the footer of page 58.  (I even thought I was being clever, having included the {{quite/s}} and {{quite/e}} around the quotation that comprises the majority of said footnote.)

But, it has just now dawned on me, since there is no <ref> code directing the transclusion thingie to include the page 58 footer, Wikisource is going to be unable to realise that the page 58 footer is a continuation of the page 57 footnote.

Or is there?

Do we have to simply place the entire footnote into the page 57 <ref></ref> section?  Is that our only option?

I am going to go ahead and do that for now, although if there is a better option out there, hopefully someone with the know-how can fix it.

Thanks in advance,
