VV for W

This page uses VV instead of W several times, using W only once, primarily this is in the name of the Element Water, thus VVater, though in one case it is Water and another instance is VVherefore. I recommend we keep the original. There's also an occurrence of "heavy" apparently spelt "heayy". We should check these and all obvious typographic errors or oddities against the errata, though it probably wouldn't be efficient to do so yet. (Note, although I'm watching this page, I may not notice a post, please reference this note and start a discussion on the text's main talk page if you disagree with my decision to mark them as such, as it affects the whole text; on the other hand, if you merely disagree with my reading of the original here, please comment here and ping me on my talk page or via e-mail, thanks). --Doug (talk) 22:15, 9 December 2010 (UTC)

I suppose you are concerned that in occult literature there may be encoded or encrypted communication, beyond the words alone, for example line acrostics or numerology; and significance might be lost by reformatting. Unfortunately of course translation followed by transcription would already have lost much of that sort of thing, and there will also be all the usual innocent typographical and other mistakes of the period. Esoteric scholars will always use the original, which is usefully indexed by the wikitranscript. I agree it makes sense to leave as much as possible unchanged in the transcript, VV, errata and all.
