THE LAW AND THE GOSPEL.
Behold on Sinai's awful height The thunder and the flame!—More glorious is the gospel light, And Love and Peace its name.
The fearful voice from Sinai's hill My trembling soul would slay; But Christ did all the law fulfil, And heaven is mine to-day.
Praise to the Lord! from sin and hell By his deliv'rance free, With Christ in glory we may dwell Through all eternity!
