He Never Lead You Wrong.
The pathway may not seem so bright,The morning not so clear,The goal that seemed almost in sight,May not be quite so near; But let content and gladness beThe burden of your song,Remember dear one, from the first,He never led you wrong!
The evening shades may gather deep,While yet it seemeth noon; Our hearts are young and brave as yet,They're growing old too soon.Remember that the hardest lot,Its sunshine brings along,You're trusting to a mighty arm,That never led you wrong.
Life's disappointments come apace,Dark clouds, with sun behind,How many times the deepest gloomWe learn is silver lined."Still let content and gladness beThe burden of your song!Remember dear one from the firstHe never led you wrong.
