Sunset
The mists of pink in the distance,The golden barred shifting glow,A riot of orange and yellowIn cloud forms come and go.
The tints of the distant mountains,A glory of purple and blue,There's chill in the lowering darkness,In the fall of the evening dew.
The night is here with its shadowsThat wavering dance and leap,The evening star is the sunset,And birds, twittering, sleep.
