"COME!" (John vi. 37.)
Jesus is calling thee,List, to His voice;Great gifts He offers thee,Take and rejoice!
Come for the pardon free,Bought by His blood!Come and be reconciledUnto thy God!
Come, and accept the peaceThat He hath brought!Come for the righteousnessThat He hath wrought!
Come for eternal lifeSo fully given!Come to be perfected,Made meet for heaven!
Come, find in Him all truthWisdom, and grace;All His rare promisesGladly embrace!
Come for a new, clean heartAnd in His name,The Spirit's mighty powerTrustingly claim!
Come unto Him for rest,Cease from thy care,Roll it upon thy Lord,For He will bear!
Come! He will heal thy woes,Whate'er they be;He knoweth each; and HeWill comfort thee.
Come! and thy every wantHe will supply;Come thou! and all good thingsMoneyless buy.
Come unto Him for loveFaithful and true!Come for the strength wherewithHe will endue.
Come for the joy that wordsCannot express!Come! for no other friendLike Him can bless.
Come for the living bread,For water pure,For the sustaining meatThat shall endure!
Come for the light of life,Bask in its beams!Come for reality,Ending thy dreams!
Glory hath He that thouCanst not conceive;Yet sweet, rich foretaste nowThou shall receive.
Where canst thou find such blissApart from Him'!Come! take these priceless gifts!Come unto Him!
