BROTHER
I have a little brother,
Who plays the livelong day,
And doesn't pay attention
To anything you say.
Who plays the livelong day,
And doesn't pay attention
To anything you say.
My mother said to brother
One day, "It isn't right
To throw bed-covers from you,
As you do every night."
One day, "It isn't right
To throw bed-covers from you,
As you do every night."
"Why do you do it, brother?"
In answer he would say,
"Because you would not let me
Go out to-day and play."
In answer he would say,
"Because you would not let me
Go out to-day and play."
With all his faults, he's very nice;
Without him, dull and gray
Our house would be. He adds the spice
And brightens up the day.
Without him, dull and gray
Our house would be. He adds the spice
And brightens up the day.
