Fair scenes and songs in dreams are nigh,
Their old enchantment bringing;—
Snow-fed Barada lapses by;
The muezzin calls from his turret high
As the rosy dawn is springing;
The lark is lost in the English sky,
And the Kremlin bells are ringing!
Their old enchantment bringing;—
Snow-fed Barada lapses by;
The muezzin calls from his turret high
As the rosy dawn is springing;
The lark is lost in the English sky,
And the Kremlin bells are ringing!
