FOR DOROTHEA
To-day I found a dainty bagBeside my garden-bedOf yellow cowslip petals sewnWith finest spider-thread.
I opened it, and there within—Of this say not a word—A fan of smallest size and madeOf plumes of humming-bird.
Claspt with a twinkling diamondA smelling-bottle tooCarved from a single peridotTo hold one drop of dew.
A handkerchief of cobweb laceAnd in one corner setThe letter "T" in golden thread,Above, a coronet.
And think you not that she who lostSuch treasures must have beenSomeone of highest rank—perhaps,Titania the queen?
