A CHILD'S FAITH
I am so sleepy—sing of trees, Of flowers, birds, and bumble-bees, And puppies, kitties, railroad trains, The sun, the stars, the clouds, and rain; And end it all with glory band Of children in a happy land, And Jesus with his arms around The little forms, and the glad sound Of happy voices ringing out. Our sins are gone. We sing about Our joy, for we are all forgiven. ···The little head drops down to sleep. He's glad to know, and feels so deep The blessed truth, that cheers him so, To know his baby sins will go Away from him; and like the song, He praises Him who bore the wrong.
