- Death of her husband. "Mr. Jarvis A. Lattin, 87-year-old Lake Helen resident, died in his home there at 5 o'clock Friday morning, having been in poor health for several years. Born May 29, 1853 in Farmingdale, Long Island, New York, where he spent most of his life as a pickle manufacturer, he retired and moved to West Volusia County 15 years ago."

Mr. Lattin and Mrs. Alice Fletcher his nurse, made the trip in less than 24 hours. They are making their home at the home of and Mrs. A. Poole of Columbia street."

"The funeral of Mrs. Agnes Dimmock Lattin formerly of this who died Friday at Deland, Florida will be held tomorrow afternoon at the Valentine funeral parlors followed by burial in the Oak Knoll cemetery. She is survived by her husband Jarvis Lattin; a son Stanley K. Dimmock of Springfield and two grandchildren Edward and Stanley Jr."

- Her death. "Word has been received here of the death of Mrs. Agnes M. (Dimmock) Lattin 76 at Lake Helen, Florida, the death occurring at the Deland hospital in that place Friday night. Besides her husband she leaves one son Stanley K. Dimmock and two grandchildren all of Springfield. She was the daughter of the late William Thornhill a former resident of Palmer center and a Civil War veteran. Mrs. Lattin's first husband was a well-known resident of Palmer Center. While living in this town she was an active member of Palmer Grange and L. L. Merrick Woman's Relief corps The body will be brought here and the funeral will be held at the A E Ballantyne funeral home on North Alain street Tuesday afternoon at 2 with Rev. H. M. Foreman of Second Baptist church officiating. Burial will be in Oak Knoll cemetery."
