Albert Salter (1811-1882) was a baker in Manhattan. He was the son of Abraham Salter (1789-1874) and Catherine Fischer (1789-1868). Albert married Mary Oldrin (1813-1849) and after her death he married her sister, Ann Seabury Oldrin (1827-1894), in 1851. He died in 1882 at age 70. His death. "On Thursday morning, June 8, 1882, Albert Salter, of pneumonia, in the 73d year of his age. Relatives and friends of the family are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from his late residence, No. 229 East 81st street, on Saturday, 10th inst., at 2 o'clock P.M."
