[edit]- Patrolman Kahrar's Funeral To-Day (1905 February 25)
- "The funeral of Bicycle Patrolman Conrad Kahrar of the Sixth Precinct was held this afternoon at 2 o'clock from his late residence, 77 Carlton Avenue, Hudson City. It was very largely attended. Shortly before the remains were removed from the house a detail of forty patrolmen from the Sixth Precinct station formed in platoons and accompanied the funeral along the Hudson Boulevard to Montgomery Street. The Interment was in New York Bay Cemetery."

- "On Tuesday, February 21, 1905, Conrad Kahrar, beloved husband of Susan Kahrar, aged 38 years. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend funeral services on Saturday, February 25 at 2 p.m., from his late residence, 77 Carlton Avenue Jersey City Heights."

- "Bicycle Patrolman Conrad Kahrar of the Sixth Police precinct, died Tuesday afternoon at his home, 77 Carleton Avenue, after a lingering illness. The funeral will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the residence. Patrolman Kahrar was … seven years ago and did … Jersey Heights most of the time. About a year ago he caught cold and pulmonary trouble developed. Several months ago Kahrar was compelled to go on the sick list. He remained at his home several weeks and again reported for duty, but became so ill that he requested another leave of absence. There will be a detail of patrolmen from the Sixth Precinct at the funeral. Reverend E.A. Meury of the Second Reformed Church will conduct services."
