- His death. "Bellport, New York. David A Duryea, 84, who for more than 60 years served as gardener on estates in this vicinity died Monday at his home on New Jersey Avenue. A life long resident of this village he leaves his widow, Mrs. Sarah Ward Duryea, a sister Mrs. Clara A. Lucas both of Bellport and several nieces and nephews."
