James Patterson (1794-1877) migrated from Ireland to the United States. He worked as a clerk in Manhattan and died in 1877 of "pulmonary emphysema", at age 82. (b. 1794; Ireland - d. September 10, 1877; Brooklyn, New York City, New York, USA)
