Order of languages

[edit]

I recommend that artificial languages be listed alphabetically, which is the order in which they appear in the Library of Congress Classification System. Here I've listed some of the better-known ones (not including more recent ones under copyright) with their approximate catalog number.

  • Works about artificial languages in general, or about several artificial languages (PM 8000)
  • Esperanto (PM 8200)
  • Idiom Neutral (PM 8383)
  • Ido (PM 8390)
  • Interlingua (PM 8400)
  • Loglan and Lojban (PM 8590)
  • Mondial (PM 8630)
  • Novial (PM 8685)
  • Volapük (PM 8950)
