Why?

[edit]

Why are you using {{process header}} for all these pages instead of {{header}} ? --Metal.lunchbox 05:59, 10 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Because I am a newbie, I asked for advice on the Scriptorium, and someone suggested I do so.

{{header}} is really menat for the Main namespace and this is Wikisource: --BirgitteSB 17:25, 10 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
Sorry, I am going to need a little bit more detailed explanation. Are you saying all of the documents I placed should use the {{header}} instead? Where is its use documented?
Cheers! Geo Swan 19:40, 10 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
Yes. I misunderstood the orignal question. The page that this talk page belongs to should us the {{process header}} and the pages of actual documents should use {{header}}.--BirgitteSB 19:53, 10 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
Next time I'll try to make my question a little more clear and helpful. --Metal.lunchbox 03:00, 15 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Is "Habeas Corpus" documents the best descriptor? Would "Constitutional challenges" be accurate? "Legal actions", something like that? They all seem to be X vs. Y cases. Sherurcij Collaboration of the Weekhave you done your part? 04:06, 25 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

any special reason detainees don't get topic pages?

[edit]

someone deleted my Omar Khadr page, saying it was redundant. It actually gathered a fair amount of material that was not on the author page, and he is notable not as an author but as a topic. For those who need this spelled out, he would be notable as an example of the Canadian government refusing to protect its citizens (see also: Maher Arar), as an example of a combatant who arguably should have been treated as a child soldier, and as an example of habeas problems at Guantanamo. I am not going to re-create the page if it's just going to get re-deleted, but if there is a policy explaining why we are putting legal documents *about* him on an *AUTHOR* page I would like to read it. Thanks.
