Is Dr. Anandabai Joshee bio part of series?

[edit]

I can't find evidence online that The Life of Dr. Anandabai Joshee by Caroline Healy Dall was a part of the Eminent or Famous Women Series' or any version published under W. H. Allen & Co. Londonjackbooks (talk) 13:23, 12 November 2017 (UTC)Reply

Do you have any other bibliographic info on the book, or a scan of any edition? --EncycloPetey (talk) 21:36, 12 November 2017 (UTC)Reply
I personally do not. Not sure how it ended up on this list. But we have Index:The Life of Dr. Anandabai Joshee.djvu. Londonjackbooks (talk) 00:43, 13 November 2017 (UTC)Reply
I've checked around and can't find anything that connects it to either the series or W. H. Allen. I'll remove it from our list. --EncycloPetey (talk) 03:18, 13 November 2017 (UTC)Reply

Multiple Editions: American, British, and Revisions

[edit]

Most of these books have an American, British, and, in some cases, new or expanded editions. Can we make sure that they are all present? Languageseeker (talk) 14:08, 5 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

Once we know a book has multiple editions, we usually list them on an editions page. This Portal was strated because of the Eminent Women series, but it is a place to list all books published by W. H. Allen & Co., so listing all the editions would make it more difficult to find the various publications. --EncycloPetey (talk) 03:04, 6 March 2021 (UTC)Reply
