Provincial Government Act, 1986/Versions

Various versions of the Provincial Government Act, 1986, exist:

• as enacted on 27 June 1986 and as came into force on 1 July of that year.
• as amended on 8 July 1987 by the Constitutional Laws Amendment Act, 1987.
• as amended on 15 April 1988 by the Constitutional Laws Amendment Act, 1988.
• as amended on 22 May 1991 by the Provincial Matters Amendment Act, 1991.

Except for section 20, it was repealed on 27 April 1994 by the Constitution of the Republic of South Africa, 1993.
