Republic of South Africa Constitution Second Amendment Act, 1980
Act
To amend the provisions of the Republic of South Africa Constitution Act, 1961, relating to the fixing of the salaries and allowances of Administrators; and the powers of provincial councils; and to provide for incidental matters.

Be it enacted by the State President, the Senate and the House of Assembly of the Republic of South Africa, as follows:―
1. The following section is hereby substituted for section 67 of the Republic of South Africa Constitution Act, 1961 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act):
“Salaries and allowances of administrators. | 67. The salaries and allowances of the administrators shall be fixed [and provided] by [Parliament] the State President and shall not be reduced during their respective terms of office.”. |
2. Section 84 of the principal Act is hereby amended―
(a) | by the substitution for paragraph (fA) of subsection (1) of the following paragraph:

(b) | by the insertion after paragraph (fA) of subsection (1) of the following paragraphs:

3. This Act shall be called the Republic of South Africa Constitution Second Amendment Act, 1980.
