Later that even{ng the President and his official party were guests of President Guiseppe Saragat for a black tie dinner at the Quirinale Palace. Approximately 140 guests attended. Following the dinner the President attended a reception and conversations with leading Italian citizens. For list of the citizens, see APPENDIX "E". The President then returned to his apartment in the Quirinale Palace for the night. |
