Roskam Statement on Clinton Press Conference

Mar 10, 2015 Press Release

WASHINGTON, DC—Today, Congressman Peter Roskam (IL-06), a member of the Select Committee on Benghazi, released the following statement after a press conference held by former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton:

“Secretary Clinton’s remarks failed to assuage my concerns over her exclusive use of a personal email account during her time as Secretary of State. We have no reason to believe that every relevant email has been turned over to State Department and our Committee. In fact, there are significant gaps in her email activity covering consequential time periods related to Benghazi that remain unaccounted for. At this point, we need an independent arbiter to analyze Secretary Clinton's personal server to ensure that the Committee receives all documents germane to our investigation. The Secretary needs to once and for all be forthcoming with these important records, which belong not to her but the American people."
