Beginning at the intersection of present U.S. Route 98 and an existing facility (old U.S. 98), in Barnwell, then westerly over the facility to the intersection of SR 1, then northerly to the intersection of present U.S. Route 98 just north of Fairhope.
ALASKA
Establishment of Interstate Al
APPROVED
Beginning at the intersection of SR 2 and the U.S.—Canadian border, then northerly over SR 2 to the intersection of SR 1 in Tok, then southwesterly over SR 1 to the intersection of Ingra and Gambell Streets in Anchorage.
Establishment of Interstate A2

Beginning at the intersection of SR 1 and SR 2 in Tok, then northwesterly over SR 2 to the intersection of SR 3 in Fairbanks.

I-15E Renumbering

Renumber as I-215 presently designated I-15E from the intersection of present I-15 near Devore to the intersection of I-15 north of Temecula.
Elimination of U.5. Route 60
ACTION WITHHELD
Eliminate the U.S Route 60 designation between the present terminous east of Blythe and the Arizona-California State Line.
CONNECTICUT
Relocation of U.S. Route 44 and Elimination of an Alternate route
RESUBMITTAL
APPROVED
Eliminate the U.S. Route 44 Alternate designation between the intersection of I-86 and U.S. Route 44 east of Hartford and U.S. 44 east of Ashford. Remove the U.S. 44 designation from its overlap with I-86 to the intersection with U.S. 44 Alternate and designate former U.S. 44 Alternate as U.S. 44.
GEORGIA
Relocation of U.S. Route 80

Relocation of I-40 and I-240 Renumbering

Beginning at the intersection of present I-40 and I-240 in west Memphis, then clockwise over I-240 to the intersection of I-40 in east Memphis. The present I-240 designation between these points is dropped.
Relocation of U.S. Route 23

Beginning at the intersection of present U.S. Route 23 and SR 137 at the Tennessee-Virginia State Line, then southerly over a new facility to the intersection of U.S. Route 123 north of Mars Hill.
TEXAS
Relocation of U.S. Route 281 and establishment of an Alternate

Beginning at the intersection of present U.S. Route 281 and I-37 north of Campbellton, then southerly over I-37 to the intersection of U.S. Route 251 near Sunniland. Designate present U.S. Route 281 between these points as U.S. Route 281 Alternate.

Extension of I-44

Beginning at the present terminous of I-44 in Oklahoma City, then southerly over I-35 and I-240 to the intersection of U.S. Route 62, then southerly over U.S. 62 to the intersection of the H.E.
