RICHARD HENRY MUDDLE, Esq.
Harbour Master at Demerara and Essiquibo.
[Post-Captain of 1817.]

Was made lieutenant, July 23, 1803; commander, May 22, 1806; and post-captain, Jan. 1, 1817. He married, while commanding the Comet sloop, in 1809, Miss Coote, niece to the chief magistrate of St. John’s, Newfoundland.
