Also known as St. Patrick's Breastplate or The Lorica of Saint Patrick or Saint Patrick's Hymn: a lorica or incantation whose original Old Irish lyrics were traditionally attributed to Saint Patrick during his Irish ministry in the 5th century. Its most popular version in English is Cecil Frances Alexander's 1889 adaptation as the hymn "I bind unto myself to-day".
