Ἑπτὰ ἐπὶ Θήβας (Hepta epi Thēbas, Latin: Septem contra Thebas), Seven against Thebes is a play by Aeschylus. The tragedy concerns the battle between an Argive army led by Polynices and the army of Thebes led by his brother Eteocles. The play is based upon the same story as Euripides' play Phoenician Women.
