• as amended on 4 March 1988 and renamed the Sexual Offences Act, 1957, by the Immorality Amendment Act, 1988.
• as amended on 11 March 1992 by the Criminal Law Amendment Act, 1992.
• as amended on 7 August 1992 by the General Law Amendment Act, 1992.
• as amended on 1 December 1993 by the General Law Fourth Amendment Act, 1992.
