Proofreading
[edit]- The source uses some archaic spelling and British word forms, including "offence," "defence," "&c." (short hand for et cetera), "wilful, "extinguishment," "corporators," "instalments," "sinkingfund," and "manufactories". Like almost every other legal document, it contains some latin or French words, like "pro tempore", and "oyer and terminer".
- I have double-checked the formatting and sifted through misspellings. The text source is reliable, coming from the Duquesne University Law School. That is why I am rating this at 75%.
- There are 4 inconsistencies with the Duquesne University source:
- Article 9 section 16 has unclear numbering - There were 2 amendments in 1933 ("Soldiers' Bonus" and "Toll Bridges") that added material to the newly created Article 9 Section 16. So, the numbering is accurate.
- Amendment to Article XI are unclear -The "Section 4" amendment to article XI is incorrect and has been removed.
- There are 2 Article 9 Section 6 - One was a duplication of Article 9 Section 3, so it was removed.
- There is no Article 9 Section 20 - This is a numbering error in the constitution.
