Continuing Appropriations Resolution, 2009 (3rd)
[edit]- OK I see that I was hasty and the Section linked previously only extended some of the Appropriations outlined in the orginal (1st), but now I'm left to wonder what exactly has extended Appropriations past March 11, 2009 as amended by the (2nd)??? - I believe that the 2nd resolution extended appropriations from its enactment date (March 6, 2009) to March 11, 2009. On that day, the Omnibus Appropriations Act, 2009 was enacted.—Markles 21:17, 21 June 2009 (UTC)
- ... and that is why I linked what I thought was the correct section extending Appropriations for FY 2009 IN the Omnibus Appropriations Act, 2009 (I just realized it's listed incorrectly as Omnibus Appropriations Act of 2009 - ``of´´ instead of a comma). Even though it was uncharacteristiclly passed early in 2009, the bill really was left over work never addressed from the 110th Congress for FY2009 due to EESA & then the Elections if I remember right.

- At any rate I can't find anything in the Omnibus bill that extends everything Appropriated in the intial Approp. bill. Many things strike the March 6th date and extends funding till Sept. 30 but, to me, everything's not covered. Weird. George Orwell III (talk) 21:39, 21 June 2009 (UTC)
- Perhaps. But it's not called (by itself or by other-- future-- statutes) "continuing." That's why there's no need for an article (redirected) called Continuing Appropriations Resolution, 2009 (3rd). —Markles 00:41, 22 June 2009 (UTC)
