This is an edited copy of the TXT version fropm DNB volume 20, Page 277-278, found at:

and checked against the scanned pdf from the same site. I used Munro, Innes (DNB00) as a template. The formatting is intended to approximate the source as closely as possible: the only exceptions are the use of apostrophes instead of curved single quotes, and the elimination of hyphes at line breaks. IF we ever get a DNB00 project started, we can reformat this article to match the consensus guidelines of the project.
