| Notes: | The above source (and this one) give the date as August 6, but this appears to be a mistake (August 6 was the date of another executive order). This book gives the date of October 10 for Executive Order 108, and gives the summary "Consular Regulations, paragraph 576, pertaining to consular agents' accounts, amended.", which appears to be this order. That date makes more sense, as the order itself references regulations of September 30 as being in the past. |
