Talk:Fables (Aesop)

Six-page layout
[edit]On 18–19 May 2005, I split the fables into six pages of roughly 32K each. The only text on the talk page was about "King Stork and King Log," so that talk page is now at Talk:Aesop's Fables-2.
The formatting of the fables is back; I see they used to be formatted with proper wiki markup: ==Name of Fable== and so on. Someone anonymous took it out at some point; I don't know why. The markup should be there
- because it looks good
- because it makes the text easier to scan quickly
- because it enables direct wikilinks such as Aesop's Fables-2#The Vain Jackdaw, as used to annotate HMS Pinafore#Act II.
The top and bottom links to Aesop's Fables, and the layout of that page itself, are copied from the style of The Odyssey. —Quuxplusone 04:23, 19 May 2005 (UTC)
Greek versions
[edit]Would it be proper to add the original (as far as anyone has them) Greek versions to the pages, or .. ? 129.107.240.1 10:27, 14 December 2008 (UTC)
- When you are on a page like this one, you can find links to other languages on the left of your screen. The Greek link will take you there ; the double arrow takes you to both languages side by side. Does that solution suit you?- --Zyephyrus (talk) 07:25, 15 December 2008 (UTC)
