Shoulder notes
[edit]The PDF (and evidently the original) has shoulder notes in the margins. I've included most of these as parenthetical statements in italics, at least for now. Those that are explicitly related to phrases with asterisks, though, have been made into footnotes at the end of their respective chapters. Should this be done for all of them?
Also, the PDF shows the note Multiceps in an odd place that may not be correct. I've tentatively placed it next to "A Cheeslip" in chapter v. This is pure speculation, as I have no idea what multiceps refers to in Latin.
Incidentally, "cheeselep" evidently means a calf's stomach, or the rennet derived from it. Lusanaherandraton (talk) 13:27, 8 November 2008 (UTC)
Images
[edit]The entire work as published in 1654 has been uploaded from a scan from the Cornell University Library. This has been matched and split to the limited text here. The rest will need to be imported from other sources if possible or transcribed by hand.--Doug.(talk • contribs) 02:02, 12 December 2010 (UTC)
