I don't know why the software is picking the second index, used to replace content missing in the first. Recompiling the contents of the separate editions into a single file would solve the problem; this is technically possible, but I was not comfortable doing that. The front matter is different -- I did see your note on the Holt index file, and it made it clear how you'd used it -- but if everything else is exactly the same in the two books, there must be some way of linking the identical pages in the two index files. I could copy and paste, but that still leaves two copies of each "identical" page to maintain. So I guess we leave things alone for now and hope someone comes along who knows how to fix this....Outlier59 (talk) 23:38, 7 February 2016 (UTC)
