There are multiple versions of this song. I find this source by C. Sharp, clearly in the public domain, though it talks about the "good old ashen tree" rather than the "rosemary tree" etc. (In both versions of the song published in this book.)

Suggest this could be edited to match one of the versions from the C. Sharp book, resolving any sourcing and copyright questions. -Pete (talk) 19:00, 7 April 2024 (UTC)
