There is no translation involved here: the second passage is a paraphrase of the first using a modern vocabulary and spelling. Both versions are in English!—unsigned comment by 141.154.162.231 (talk) 21:35, 27 November 2006.

All translations are, in a sense, paraphrases. Both versions are also in Indo-European, too. In this case, the languages are considered by scholars separate languages, Middle English and Modern English, and even once the spelling has been updated, the text is still not good Modern English; "Now reigns pride in price" is simply not good modern English.--Prosfilaes (talk) 22:02, 28 March 2010 (UTC)
