The following web source has a text rendition of the Lecompton Constitution:

It also contains images of the original manuscript. I am not able to read the original images, and must rely on the text version. It is significantly different than the one published on the wikisource. I started this to correct the obvious error in date contained in the wikisource document and found instead the overall document different.
I believe the version I show the link to, the one used in the wikisource are merely different revisions. Perhaps the one in the source is an earlier version, as it contains dates certain for elections which strikes me as strange for a document intended to continue in perpetuity and for which its future date of enactment could not be known. The kansasmemory document reads more consistently. Also, I believe the kansasmemory document differs from quoted text of the Lecompton constitution contained in transcripts of Lincoln's speeches during the Lincoln Douglas debates. This would tend to reinforce the idea that the kansasmemory document is a later document, at least than the one which was on the table during the debates.
Don't know what to do about it. I am not a historian. Perhaps such a person could set this right. At a minimum, the wikisource document should be updated to correct the blatant errors of date, and its relationship to the various versions included in its citation.
