Notes: The complete works of Giraldus, were published in eight

volumes by the Lords Commissioners of the Treasury. Under the direction of the Master of the Rolls, Adrian's privilege occurs three times, they are in the first, fifth, and eighth volumes. This is a literal translation from the eighth volume by Laurence Ginnell.
