Title of page
[edit]I have most often heard this referred to as the "Ludwig Obituary" (see, in particular, Kenneth Silverman's Edgar A. Poe: Mournful and Never-ending Remembrance). I think it's closer to a "title" than "Death of Edgar Allan Poe," unless that really is the headline that originally printed over it. Anyone have info? --Midnightdreary 22:19, 26 October 2007 (UTC)
- The eapoe.org site uses "Death of Edgar A. Poe." as the title. Is that the same text ? John Vandenberg 04:29, 27 October 2007 (UTC)
- The original Tribune headline was "Death of Edgard A. Poe"[1] though the Ludwig pseudonym was often used to identify it as well. It appears however, that the current source text is not a full copy of the original obit.--Milowent (talk) 14:58, 7 November 2013 (UTC)
