This seems to be the translation of Robert Farquharson Sharp, according to the websites http://academics.triton.edu/uc/files/peergynt.htm and http://www.logoslibrary.org/ibsen/peer/index.html where the whole translated text of the play is online.

Moreover it has been released under the terms of the Project Gutenberg License ( [1] ) [2]

Sharp? Or Archer?

[edit]

The text actually appears to be the (thoroghly public domain, except maybe in Mexico) Archer translation.

So far as I know, the RFS translation is still under copyright in strict life+70 jurisdictions, and possibly, if not probably, in the U.S. (I believe it was first published in the U.S. in 1924). Eastcheap (talk)
