[edit]I think that the source of this must have been this 1890 facimile https://archive.org/details/shepheardescalen00spenrich which commons has (in pdf) File:The shepheardes calender (IA shepheardescalen00spenrich).pdf.
Other versions of this include:
- https://archive.org/details/shepheardescalen00spen 1586, which the commons has and has been started here at Index:Spencer - The Shepheardes Calender, conteining twelue æglogues proportionable to the twelue monethes, 1586.djvu having been previously uploaded with very terrible ocr.
- https://archive.org/details/shepheardscalend00spen 1597, pdf at commons File:The shepheards calender - conteyning twelue aeglogues, proportionable to the twelue moneths - entituled, to the noble and vertuous gentleman, most worthy of all tytles (IA shepheardscalend00spen).pdf
Personally, I would rather see one of the 1500's editions here, the 1597 has the potential to have better ocr if a djvu can be made.
But this should be moved out of the namespace, I have another edition, 1898, Walter Crane, completely different in illustration and long s.--RaboKarbakian (talk) 17:59, 28 September 2021 (UTC)
