Can we set a formatting scheme:

  • The poem tag may work after recent changes, the line spacing is manageable when transcluded. Note that an indent or margin now appears, I don't know why. I find leading spaces fiddly, but its not a problem after it's finished. Keep or convert to br/ and gap style?
  • Use the drop initial template? It may need tweaking, it affects line wrapping. We should add alt-text to the image whichever way we do it.
  • Float centre for text? I have disposed of the div class where I have used this elsewhere, perhaps unwisely, so everything aligns nicely.
  • Default size for image. There is only one per page, so loading is less of an issue. Are we sticking with uncorrected colour or going for B&W, maybe a transparent background is best?
A few things left to do, maybe at the sisters too, I don't mind doing them. Cygnis insignis (talk) 12:38, 14 May 2010 (UTC)Reply
Be bold. I'm unattached to anything currently in place but would love some consistency; at the moment its a bit of everything. I do prefer the br/ gap formatting over poem and do like grayscale images over the pinky/beige ones, but thats just me. A documented scheme for the series would be useful.
I just finished reading Doreen tonight and enjoyed it. Will be scanning soon. Moondyne (talk) 14:10, 14 May 2010 (UTC)Reply
I did the first couple, anyone see a problem? Cygnis insignis (talk) 23:46, 14 May 2010 (UTC)Reply
They look gorgeous. If we can get grayscale images and dropcaps for the whole book, then we'll be done. :-D Hesperian 07:19, 15 May 2010 (UTC)Reply
