Shouldn't the translation be noted? John Kenney 06:26, 19 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

Stage Play

I know that there was a stage adaptation of this work in the public domain. Are there any plans to add that to this site in the near future?

As to the translator, It should be noted.

Regards,

Alas, the translator of this particular translation is Eleanor Hochman, who is seemingly still alive and translating/writing books.[1]. Sherurcij (talk) (λεμα σαβαχθανει) 08:10, 26 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

OK... does that mean this is the 1894 Robson translation? -- Visviva 06:33, 20 September 2007 (UTC)Reply
Yes, this 1922 Routledge edition has the same text and credits Robson: http://books.google.com/books?id=GFIPAAAAQAAJ --Grvsmth (talk) 01:28, 28 September 2008 (UTC)Reply
Thank you for verifying that! I have created Author:William Robson, but cant quickly find any birth/death dates for him. John Vandenberg (chat) 02:32, 28 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

IA (vol 2 IA) looks very similar to the Gutenberg etext, however the introductory material is different. IA edition is from 1853. IA is from 1893, and IA appears to be a duplicate. IA is a volume 2, for which there is no first edition. John Vandenberg (chat) 23:09, 2 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
